Selling Karoo lamb direct — the premium is real

A whole Karoo lamb through the abattoir agent gets you about R1,200. Selling direct on this app I get R1,800. That's a 50% premium. Buyers pay it because they know it's genuine free-range Karoo lamb, not feedlot. I vacuum-pack the cuts myself (machine cost R3,500) and buyers collect from the farm. Started with 2 lambs per month, now doing 10.
